2024 Season Opener
Our SLAP Dragons KC team kicked off the season with enthusiasm, despite windy conditions that kept us off the water. Missed out on the water this time? No worries send us a message and dive into the adventure!
2024 Kansas City International Dragon Boat Festival
The SLAP Dragons attended the Kansas City International Dragon Boat Festival at Brush Creek in Kansas City and secured the Gold medal.

Stars and Stripes River Festival
SLAP Dragons KC had an incredible time racing in OKC at the Stars and Stripes River Festival!
We took home silver in the 500m, gold in the 200m, and gold in the flag catching race.
A huge congratulations to all the other racers and teams that attended!
Badger Lake Dragon Boat Bash
SLAP Dragons KC raced at the Badger Lake Dragon Boat bash. Made it to the A finals and won the gold! We also took an award home that is better than GOLD… The Jean Rice Spirit award. It was a great honor to receive it from the family of Jean Rice.
